The gourmet restaurant Le Saint-James

At the Saint-James, we know how to cultivate the beautiful as well as the good. In the gourmet restaurant "Le Saint-James", the starred chef Michel Portos, a native of Marseille, conjures up a cuisine that is indeed classical but nonetheless revisited and multicultural featuring regional produce. Creations
inspired by the daily market and the seasons in harmony with the low-key décor and the Deshoulières crockery: a line has been specially created to enhance the flavours invented by Michel Portos. All this crowned by panoramic views of Bordeaux and the rows of Merlot vines that produce the "Vin du Jardin". The cellar boasts no less than 1,500 positions chosen by the sommelier Richard Bernard.

3 rooms that can accommodate up to 120 covers Salon bordelais - 70 persons for cocktails and 40 for a banquet
The bar - 20 persons for cocktails
The small salon - 15 persons for cocktail, 8 for a banquet
Salle Jean Nouvel - 200 persons for cocktails and 120 for a banquet
Large terrace - up to 300 people for cocktails and 70 for a meal

“You love your cellar? So do we!...”

On Wednesday bring your own wines and we won’t charge any corkage.

A menu will be prepared featuring the market produce selected by Michel Portos and his team in close cooperation with Richard Bernard (Best Sommelier in France 1997) and the wines you bring.     

Two menu options:
- Menu for € 75 based on an appetiser, starter, main course (fish or meat), a pre-dessert and a dessert
- Menu for € 95 based on an appetiser, starter, a fish course, a meat course, cheese, a pre-dessert and a dessert
